Large White Dinner Plate (300mm)

A full-size 300mm dinner plate that behaves like proper crockery and survives being packed in a bakkie. At 300mm x 19mm it takes a whole plate of food — steak, pap, salad and a bread roll — without anything sliding off the edge.

It's moulded in polycarbonate rather than melamine or ceramic. That matters: polycarbonate is the material commercial kitchens and airlines use precisely because it shrugs off drops onto tile, concrete and campsite gravel. It won't chip at the rim the way ceramic does, and it doesn't have the brittle, hollow feel of a picnic plate.

The white finish is deliberately plain so it works as easily on a set table at home as it does on a camp table in the Cederberg.
